I never saw whatever it wasThat came and hit me from behindThen I awoke enraged and confusedHow could I have been so blindLife's escaping, don't pretendJudgement comes, but who knows whenSo when you least expectThat's when it takes effectA tragic twist to alter fateInstinct is to denyLogic does not applyIn time we learn, but it's too lateBlunt force trauma to the headBlazing through life at the speed of soundDon't stop to look at the signsSuddenly everything crashes around youWhen we forget, life remindsClock is running, falling sandTime is slipping through your handsSo when you least expectThat's when it takes effectA tragic twist to alter fateInstinct is to denyLogic does not applyIn time we learn, but it's too lateBlunt force trauma to the headIt's too lateBlunt force traumaSo when you least expectThat's when it takes effectA tragic twist to alter fateInstinct is to denyLogic does not applyIn time we learn, but it's too lateBlunt force trauma to the head
