Testo della canzone

I saw the morningIt was shattered by a gunHeard a scream, saw him fall, no one criedI saw a motherShe was praying for her sonBring him back, let him live, don't let him dieDo you ever ask yourselfIs there a Heaven in the skyWhy can't we get it rightCause we all live under the same sunWe all walk under the same moonThen why, why can't we live as oneI saw the eveningFading shadows one by oneWe watch the lamb, lay down to the sacrificeI saw the childrenThe children of the sunHow they wept, how they bled, how they diedDo you ever ask yourselfIs there a Heaven in the skyWhy can't we stop the fightCause we all live under the same sunWe all walk under the same moonThen why, why can't we live as oneSometimes I think I'm going madWe're loosing all we had and no one seems to careBut in my heart it doesn't changeWe've got to rearrange and bring our world some loveAnd does it really matterIf there's a heaven up aboveWe sure could use some loveCause we all live under the same sunWe all walk under the same moonThen why, why can't we live as oneCause we all live under the same skyWe all look up at the same starsThen why, tell me why can't we live as one
