When the evening fallsAnd the daylight is fadingFrom within me callsCould it be I am sleeping? For a moment I strayThen it holds me completelyClose to home, I cannot sayClose to home, feeling so far awayAs I walk the roomThere before me a shadowFrom another worldWhere no other can followCarry me to my ownTo where I can cross over,Close to home, I cannot sayClose to home, feeling so far awayForever searching, never rightI am lost in oceans of nightForever hoping I can find memoriesThose memories I left behindEven though I leaveWill I go on believingThat this time is realAm I lost in this feeling?Like a child passing throughNever knowing the reasonI am home, I know the wayI am home, feeling oh, so far away
